Chief Consultant: Dr Vijay Sangam
Dr. Vijay Sangam is a highly accomplished supply chain and operations executive with deep expertise in designing and implementing Lean and Agile supply chain frameworks across manufacturing and trading environments. Over his 20+ year career, he has consistently aligned supply chain strategies with overarching organisational objectives by developing Core Competency Strategies that have delivered cost savings of up to 20%, improved Operating Profit After Capital Charge (OPACC), and enabled scalable business growth.
Vijay’s core strength lies in crafting and executing strategies that drive operational excellence, enhance Economic Value Added (EVA), and elevate the Total Customer Experience (TCE). Certified and trained in Lean Six Sigma, he has led numerous DMAIC-based continuous improvement initiatives that have eliminated waste, improved productivity by over 15%, and reduced lead times to market by up to 33% across B2B and B2C segments.
His cross-industry experience spans IT, Electronics, 3PL, Consulting, Education, Retail, FMCG, Automotive, and Resources, where he has re-engineered logistics networks, integrated S&OP and ERP systems, and improved demand-supply alignment, resulting in enhanced agility and resilience. Recognised as a change agent and collaborative leader, Vijay has successfully led high-performance teams through complex transformations, consistently delivering measurable outcomes in fast-paced, global environments.
Head of New Zealand Office:
Gijs is a Supply Chain Professional with over 15 years of C-level and 26 years of international experience in delivering value chain optimization in Supply Chain, Procurement and IT; across FMCG manufacturing, retail and healthcare. Gijs commenced his career in robotics and flexible manufacturing, progressing to supply chain consulting with two of the Big 4 consultancies, in Europe and Australasia. After moving to New Zealand in 1995, he transferred into the corporate environment.
Gijs expertise lies in domestic and international Supply Chain strategy development and execution; supply chain process transformation & change leadership and transformation; service and total cost of logistics turnaround; Sales & Operations Planning and Advanced Planning & Optimisation; implementation of continuous improvement and ‘lean’ logistics; planning and governance; strategic vendor management; selection and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning, Advanced Planning & Optimisation and Supply Chain Execution systems including IT governance, establishing effective consumer response system.

Head of India Office:
Mr. Chhura is a dynamic and results oriented general management & operations global executive with broad operations, integrated supply chain and commercial experience in the western world as well as in emerging countries like China and India. A natural change agent providing digital leadership, armed with 25+ years of hands on global experience with market leaders like IBM, Lenovo, Apple, Philips and Flex.
Mr Chhura has strong expertise in establishing and operating green field entities with demonstrated tangible results in the areas of high volume order fulfilment centres, complex distribution networks, manufacturing and procurement centralization. Core competency includes but not limited to ‘all miles’ of supply chain, fulfilment, procurement, reengineering distribution networks, outsourcing, global business services (GBS), acquisition and post-merger integration, optimising inventory, costs and serviceability.
